According to a local resident, the casualties included 9 civilians from Ngapatchaung village, 1 from Hlaynamaw village, and 5 from Shargwe village. The local population has been forced to flee their homes due to the military operations. The following day, on July 18 at 7:30 AM, a Y-12 aircraft from Tataoo launched another attack, dropping four 120mm bombs on Hlaynamaw village. On the same day, the military conducted 15 separate airstrikes on Htonegyi village in Singu Township.
The subsequent airstrikes resulted in four additional injuries in Hlaynamaw village, and there are concerns about potential casualties in Htonegyi village due to the intensity of the attacks. Local sources indicate that the exact ages of the deceased have not yet been confirmed, and civilians in the area continue to live in fear due to the military council’s ongoing aerial bombardment campaign.
