
Three members of the military council forces were killed during clashes in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, on July 11, according to revolutionary forces. The battle took place near the Nine Pagodas in Allakappa village, Myinmu Township, beginning around 10:15 AM. Revolutionary forces engaged approximately twenty military council soldiers from Doe Myanmar Kyaw and Myaing junction using heavy and light weapons in the attack.
During the battle, revolutionary forces launched an attack using a 40mm shell and small arms, resulting in three military council soldiers being fatally wounded while the remaining troops fled the scene, as confirmed by a representative from the Black Eagle Defence Force – MMU. Later that same day, when about fifty military council troops were moving toward the south of Allakappa village in five civilian vehicles, revolutionary forces launched another attack using Padaytha mines and various weapons.
In the second attack, the second and third vehicles carrying military council troops were hit, resulting in numerous casualties among the soldiers on board. Across both engagements, revolutionary forces confirmed three fatalities and seventeen injuries on the military council side. The operations were jointly conducted by multiple resistance groups, including the Myinmu Township People’s Defense Force leading the operation, along with Black Eagle Defence Force (MMU), Allakappa Township PDF, Myinmu Township People’s Liberation Force, Tiger Lay (Myaing), Yay Nagar (Chaung-U Township People’s Defense Force), and local revolutionary groups working in coordination.
