A series of drone attacks carried out by revolutionary forces over three consecutive days targeted a military council supply convoy stationed in Kamma town, Magway Region, resulting in injuries to more than 10 military council soldiers, according to a spokesperson from the Garuda Secret Force. The attacks began on May 31, targeting a military convoy consisting of 120 vehicles and approximately 1,000 personnel from Infantry Division 101 based in Pakokku.
The coordinated attacks were conducted by an alliance of revolutionary forces including the Garuda Secret Force, Black Cheetah, Daung Thway Ni Guerrilla Force, Myaing PDF, Major Aung Kyaw Guerrilla Force, the youth guerrilla force led by Ko Yay Chit and Ko Ba La, Jin Lay People’s Defense Force, and the Allied Forces of Central Myanmar. During the operations, one drone belonging to an allied group was reportedly lost in action.
While the exact number of fatalities among military council troops could not be confirmed at this time, reports from the battlefield indicate that at least 10 soldiers sustained injuries during the three-day offensive. The revolutionary forces stated that these attacks were specifically designed to disrupt the military council’s supply lines and logistics operations in the region. The coordinated drone strikes demonstrate the increasing tactical capabilities of resistance forces in their campaign against the military council’s presence in the area.
