According to local sources, a fighter jet from Tataoo Air Base targeted the village with 500-pound bombs at approximately 8:10 PM on July 9. The attack resulted in the immediate death of one civilian who had fled from Myaing town, while four others sustained severe injuries. The Dawn Minn Ground News Information Group confirmed these casualties and the deliberate nature of the attack on civilian targets.
Additionally, the military council carried out airstrikes on Samanhtaw village in Natogyi Township, Mandalay Region. The aerial attack occurred at around 5:30 PM on July 9, resulting in civilian injuries and the death of three cattle, as confirmed by an official from the Natogyi Township People’s Defense Force.
