
A spokesperson from the People’s Defense Force (PDF) Western Zone of Ye-U has confirmed that four military council troops were killed and one weapon was seized during a clash in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region. The incident occurred on July 7 near Natpay village in Kanbalu Township, where revolutionary forces ambushed military council troops who were conducting a patrol in the area. During the engagement, four military council soldiers were killed, and the resistance forces captured one G-3 rifle, while the remaining soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militia members retreated from the area.
The PDF Western Zone of Ye-U spokesperson detailed that the resistance forces successfully ambushed the military council patrol near Natpay village, resulting in the seizure of weapons and ammunition before the military council troops withdrew from the area. The operation was jointly carried out by the Kanbalu District PDF and allied forces, with revolutionary forces successfully withdrawing from the area without sustaining any casualties. The spokesperson emphasized that this operation demonstrates the continued effectiveness of resistance forces in the region.
