Similarly, in Pauk Township of Magway Region, two military helicopters from the Pakokku 101st Division conducted aerial attacks on villages. The status of civilian casualties from these attacks also remains unconfirmed. Local residents point out that these military airstrikes appear to be deliberately targeting innocent civilians. The ongoing attacks have severely disrupted civilian life in these areas, with many residents forced to abandon their homes and seek shelter in safer locations.
In Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region, military attacks resulted in injuries to two children. On July 4, at approximately 2 PM, military troops stationed in Wine Oak Su Wine village in Oaktwin Township fired heavy weapons indiscriminately despite there being no active fighting in the area. The artillery shells hit a primary school in Nyaung Pin Ain village, resulting in injuries to two innocent children. Local residents report that these deliberate attacks by the military council have severely impacted daily civilian life, causing deterioration in education, healthcare, and economic conditions in the region. The military’s continued targeting of civilian areas, including schools and residential zones, has created an atmosphere of fear and instability among local communities, forcing many to live in constant anxiety about potential attacks.
