The attack began around 1:00 AM on June 25th, targeting the military council camp which was manned by approximately 40 personnel. The joint forces, comprising the People’s Defense Force Battalion 3702 and KNLA Brigade 9, successfully captured the camp by 1:40 AM. During the battle, four military council soldiers were killed and two were captured, while the remaining soldiers fled the camp. The resistance forces seized weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment following the operation.
The official stated that the two captured soldiers are currently undergoing necessary interrogation and will be treated according to prisoner of war laws. He emphasized that military operations in the southern region will be intensified, calling for public participation and support. The resistance forces currently face shortages of bulletproof vests, helmets, and ammunition, which can only be addressed through public support and assistance.
