The engagement lasted for more than an hour, during which numerous casualties were reported on the military council’s side.
Despite the military council’s counterattack using heavy artillery, the revolutionary forces managed to withdraw successfully without suffering any casualties. The operation was jointly carried out by Battalion 3802 Division 2, Division 3 of Thayarwaddy District, and the Shwetanmyay People’s Defense Force. During the battle, several military council soldiers were wounded and fled, prompting them to call for military reinforcements. The fighting lasted from 3:50 AM until 5:30 AM, with the revolutionary forces making a tactical withdrawal after the arrival of military reinforcements and their deployment of heavy artillery.
