Revolutionary forces in Pyigyidagun Township, Yangon Region, including the People’s Defense Force (PDF) and the Saw Dragon Drone Force Battalion from the Southern Military Region, held a ceremony today, June 19, to commemorate the 80th birthday of democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
During the ceremony, revolutionary force members carried photographs of Aung San Suu Kyi in tribute, celebrated with a birthday cake, and sang birthday songs in her honor. The participants paid special tribute to Aung San Suu Kyi’s democratic activism and sacrifices for the people of Myanmar.
The revolutionary forces from Pyigyidagun Township continue their vigorous fight against the military dictatorship and for the flourishing of democracy. They expressed their commitment to continuing their efforts for Aung San Suu Kyi’s release and the establishment of a just democratic state.
