A drone strike on a Pyu Saw Htee camp in Sone Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, has resulted in the death of two Pyu Saw Htee members, according to a representative from the Peacock Drone Team. The attack occurred around 10 AM on May 24, when nine fixed-wing drones conducted a coordinated strike targeting areas where military council troops were resting and locations housing communication jamming equipment. The attack resulted in two Pyu Saw Htee casualties, multiple injuries, and the destruction of one house by fire.
The attacking forces dropped over twenty bombs on designated targets, which included communication jamming equipment locations, troop gathering areas, and the administrator’s residence. Although the military council forces responded with both heavy and light weapons fire from within Sone Village, none of the resistance fighters were injured during the operation. The representative confirmed that the mission achieved its objectives effectively. This coordinated attack was carried out through the collaboration of local People’s Defense Forces and revolutionary alliance groups, who continue to work towards ensuring security and stability in the region.
