
A joint Korean-Myanmar protest against Myanmar’s military dictatorship was held in Ulsan, South Korea. The demonstration was organized by the Ulsan Myanmar Association and led by revolutionary activist Dae Gu Sayadaw. Protesters carried signs and posters expressing their opposition to the military dictatorship regime in Myanmar.
During the protest, Dae Gu Sayadaw delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of Myanmar people’s continued unity in their struggle until liberation from the military dictatorship. He urged both domestic and international Myanmar citizens to increase their support for the revolution. He also called for the international community to show stronger support for the Myanmar people’s fight for democracy.
Participants at the protest carried Myanmar democracy flags and National Unity Government flags, along with anti-military dictatorship banners. South Korean citizens also joined the protest to show their solidarity with the Myanmar people’s revolution. The demonstration concluded peacefully and successfully. The event demonstrated the growing international solidarity with Myanmar’s pro-democracy movement and opposition to the military regime that continues to oppress its own people.
