Three civilians were killed when the military council conducted an aerial bombardment on San Bo village in Thaung Tha Township, Mandalay Region, according to a representative from the Thaung Tha Township Public Movement Committee. The attack occurred around 2:45 AM on April 21, when three military helicopters dropped 11 bombs on San Bo village. The aerial assault resulted in the immediate death of three civilians and left four others severely injured.
The attack also killed two cattle and destroyed two residential houses in the village. According to a spokesperson from the Thaung Tha Township Public Movement Committee, the military council has been deliberately conducting aerial attacks targeting civilian populations, resulting in frequent casualties among innocent civilians. The committee emphasized that these attacks are part of a pattern of violence against civilians by the military council.
The Public Movement Committee has strongly advised local residents to construct proper bomb shelters systematically to protect themselves from aerial attacks. They have also urged people to immediately seek shelter in these bunkers when air raid warnings are issued. Local residents have stated that the military council is committing war crimes against civilians, and the international community needs to pressure the military to stop such brutal attacks. The committee continues to document these attacks as evidence of the military council’s systematic violence against its own people, highlighting the urgent need for intervention to protect civilian lives in the region.
