Revolutionary forces have reported that the terrorist military council has been intensifying its air strikes across the country since the earthquake on March 28. International human rights organizations have declared that such deliberate attacks on civilian areas without active combat constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity. The military’s continued targeting of civilian populations through aerial bombardment demonstrates a pattern of violence against its own people, with these recent attacks adding to the mounting evidence of systematic human rights violations being committed by the military council.
