
According to local residents, more than ten civilians were injured when the military council conducted airstrikes on two villages in southern Ayartaw Township, Sagaing Region, without any ongoing battles in the area. The ongoing attacks have caused widespread destruction of civilian property and created a humanitarian crisis in the area, with villagers having to abandon their homes and possessions to seek refuge in safer locations.
According to a local resident’s account, civilians are currently living in fear due to the military council’s continued airstrikes and artillery attacks. They have been forced to evacuate their homes and relocate to safer areas, leaving behind their properties and belongings. The military council’s deliberate targeting of civilian areas without any military conflict has escalated the humanitarian crisis in the region, as reported by local residents. These attacks on innocent civilians have resulted in widespread displacement and increasing humanitarian concerns in the area.
