
A police station in Tamwe Township, Yangon, was attacked with three hand grenades, according to a responsible official from the North Okkalapa Township People’s Defense Force. The attack occurred on April 14 at 10:10 PM, with the grenades exploding inside the police station compound. While there may have been injuries among police personnel, the exact casualties could not be immediately confirmed, officials said.
The attack was carried out by members of the North Okkalapa Township People’s Defense Force under the guidance of the Yangon Eastern District People’s Defense Force. All members of the resistance force safely withdrew from the area after the operation. Regarding the attack, a responsible official from the North Okkalapa Township People’s Defense Force confirmed, ‘There might be casualties, but we don’t have confirmation yet. Our comrades are all safe.’
