
On April 10 in Yangon, during the 16th anniversary of the Arakan Army (AA)’s founding day celebration, the Northern Alliance allies – Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) – sent congratulatory messages. In these messages, they pledged to remain united in Operation 1027, which was initiated alongside Spring Revolution forces against the military dictatorship, until achieving revolutionary victory.
Operation 1027, which was launched by the three Northern Alliance groups, has evolved into one of the most effective campaigns against the authoritarian regime with the participation of other allied forces and Spring Revolution groups. This operation represents a significant step forward in the revolutionary path and has gained strong support from the revolutionary public. The three allied groups have firmly committed to overcoming all challenges and obstacles they face through unified action. They emphasized their dedication to maintaining strong brotherhood and solidarity throughout all phases of Operation 1027 until reaching their revolutionary goals.
The congratulatory messages highlighted the AA’s continuous efforts to realize their Arakan dream and work towards achieving the political aspirations of the Rakhine people as quickly as possible. The AA is actively participating in revolutionary areas across Myanmar to bring about the complete end of the military dictatorship and establish the democratic system desired by the Myanmar people. The Northern Alliance members acknowledged that the AA’s practical implementation and acceleration of revolutionary activities have become a source of pride and inspiration for all people of Myanmar. They emphasized that the AA’s political objectives for the Rakhine people will inevitably be achieved in the near future, demonstrating their strong commitment to the revolutionary cause and their determination to continue fighting until democratic transformation is achieved throughout Myanmar.
