
On April 10, 2024, at 00:30 hours, military council forces conducted an airstrike on Saizang village in Tedim Township, Chin State, resulting in the death of 6 family members including 4 children, according to Chin revolutionary sources. The airstrike occurred when there was no active fighting in the area, and the targeted village had no revolutionary forces stationed there.
The victims who died in the bombing were all from the same family, and one child was also severely injured, according to local sources. The Chin revolutionary forces stated that the military council forces deliberately targeted civilian homes in this attack.
Additionally, on the evening of April 9, fighter jets from the Naypyidaw-based Aela Air Force Base conducted airstrikes using 500-pound bombs on Township 4 in Mindat Township, as confirmed by Mindat-based Chin revolutionary forces. These attacks occurred at 8:44 PM and 8:58 PM respectively.
