One person who sustained severe injuries was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A local resident from Insein Township reported witnessing security forces and military personnel conducting vehicle inspections on Aung Mingalar Don Road around 8:30 PM. The checkpoints were thoroughly examining military vehicles, police vehicles, private cars, and taxis. These security measures continued until approximately 9:00 PM, according to the resident’s account. The heightened security presence in the area followed immediately after the attack on the CID office.
The Rangoon Urban Column has called for increased cooperation from Yangon residents to strengthen their ground intelligence network. They have requested that citizens report any military council troop movements, security checks, or other relevant information through their Telegram account @RUC_info. This collaboration between civilians and revolutionary forces is considered crucial for the effectiveness of resistance operations. The urban guerrilla group emphasizes that public participation in information sharing plays a vital role in their strategic operations against the military council’s forces in Yangon.
