A battalion formation and training graduation ceremony was held on March 18 at Battalion No. 6 in Pakokku District, involving officers, warrant officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers. This graduation ceremony is part of the military council’s force expansion efforts, aimed at increasing their capacity for civilian oppression in the region. The training included military exercises, weapons handling, and operational strategy instruction.
At the graduation ceremony, the Pakokku District correspondent-in-charge delivered an opening speech, followed by battalion officials giving encouraging words to the graduating trainees. The military council continues to oppress civilians under the guise of regional security, forcing young people into military service and mandatory military training. Through such training programs, the military council is attempting to expand its forces, demonstrating its ongoing efforts to strengthen its control over the population.
