On March 16 at 2:15 PM, the Bamar Army’s Battalion 707 conducted an ambush on a military council armored vehicle traveling from Salin town toward Sinphyukyun. During the attack, one military council soldier was killed by a headshot, another was wounded in the arm, and several others sustained various injuries. The armored vehicle was carrying approximately twenty soldiers who were heading to Sinphyukyun to reinforce military positions in the area.
The military council is currently conducting a major operation in Salin Township, deploying tanks, armored vehicles, Mi-35 helicopters, naval vessels, and infantry forces. They are carrying out coordinated ground, naval, and air operations, putting significant military pressure on local civilians. The revolutionary forces continue to launch daily attacks against the military council’s operations, causing substantial casualties among military council forces, which has led to ongoing reinforcement efforts as confirmed by the Bamar Army’s statement.
