
People’s Defense Forces conducted drone strikes on military camps stationed at North Khinran Pyu village and Myittha Dam in Gangaw Township, Magway Region, resulting in the death of 6 soldiers including a camp commander, while 2 soldiers were captured along with their weapons. On March 4 at 9:20 AM, joint People’s Defense Forces launched drone strikes with Einar bombs on the Pyu Saw Htee camp in North Khayan village, Gangaw Township, causing casualties among soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members, according to a responsible official from the Myaing PDF.
During a three-day period from March 7 to 9, multiple drone strikes were carried out on the terrorist military camp stationed at Myittha Dam in Gangaw Township. These attacks resulted in the deaths of 6 people, including one camp commander, one soldier, and 4 Pyu Saw Htee members, with many others sustaining injuries. Additionally, on March 16, two soldiers from the Myittha Dam position defected to revolutionary forces and were captured along with an MA-11 rifle and ammunition.
These operations were jointly conducted by Myaing PDF, Gangaw Township Combined Forces, Gangaw Township PDF, and Pauk/Myaing/Kamma drone units, with no casualties reported among the revolutionary forces. On March 17 afternoon, the terrorist military retaliated by conducting jet fighter airstrikes on villages near Myittha Dam, according to local residents.
