In Pathein city of Ayeyarwady Region, an incident occurred at the downtown police station where a man armed with two pairs of scissors attacked the facility, resulting in injuries to four police officers, including station chief Kyaw Zay Latt. The attacker also sustained gunshot wounds during the confrontation. Local residents suggest this incident is connected to the ongoing political instability in the country.
