
A spokesperson from the Bama Htee Artillery Guerrilla Force has confirmed that military council troops suffered casualties following attacks using rockets and drones on their positions in Pakokku and Myaing Townships of Magway Region. On March 16, around 1 PM, revolutionary forces successfully launched an attack using 10 rockets against military council troops stationed at Nyaung Gyi Pin Pyu Saw Htee village in Pakokku Township.
During the attack, seven rockets directly hit and exploded on buildings and guard posts where military council troops were stationed, resulting in casualties among their ranks. Currently, the military council has reinforced the Nyaung Gyi Pin Pyu Saw Htee village with approximately 30 additional troops from Aung Tha Pyu Saw Htee village, according to battle reports. Additionally, on March 13, revolutionary forces conducted a drone strike on the military council’s position at Twinhma Village Pyu Saw Htee camp in Myaing Township, which also resulted in military casualties, though the exact numbers are yet to be confirmed.
A representative from the Bama Htee Artillery Guerrilla Force confirmed the military council casualties and stated that they are continuing to investigate the number of casualties. The spokesperson also mentioned that they will continue to target military council positions and requested support from revolutionary civilians for their operations. The attacks were jointly carried out by various revolutionary groups including Myaing PDF, Bama Htee, Ko Sone Gyi Group, People’s Liberation Alliance, Black Cobra Force Pakokku, and Kamma Alliance. All revolutionary fighters successfully withdrew from the operation without sustaining any casualties.
