
The Arakan Army (AA) and Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), members of the Northern Brotherhood Alliance, have issued a statement on the 36th anniversary of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), emphasizing that unity among their organizations will become increasingly important in the coming period. In the congratulatory message sent for MNDAA’s anniversary on March 11, they noted that the upcoming period would be crucial for maintaining and building upon their current achievements, describing it as a critical testing phase for ensuring sustainable progress and further development of their accomplishments.
The AA and TNLA emphasized their commitment to further strengthening the bonds of unity and mutual understanding between the alliance members. While acknowledging that the path ahead for rebuilding and developing the Kokang region will face numerous challenges, they expressed confidence in overcoming these obstacles based on the MNDAA’s historical experience and organizational legacy.
