
A spokesperson from the Earthquake People’s Defense Force confirmed that revolutionary forces conducted an attack against the terrorist military and Pyu Saw Htee members in Yeipotgyi village, Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region, resulting in the death of three Pyu Saw Htee members and the seizure of weapons and ammunition. The attack occurred around 6:00 AM on February 27, during which three Pyu Saw Htee group members were killed and three others were severely injured.
During the battle, revolutionary forces seized military weapons, ammunition, and equipment from the Pyu Saw Htee members. The seized items included one carbine rifle, 149 rounds of ammunition, two ammunition magazines, 11 G3 bullets, one magazine spring, one dagger, five mobile phones, and two power banks. Current reports indicate ongoing tensions between the military and revolutionary forces in the area.
During the conflict, the terrorist military sent reinforcements from Kyaunkongyi and conducted five aerial attacks using MI-35 military helicopters. The operation involved the collaboration of various revolutionary forces, including Battalion 4 from Minbu District, People’s Defense Forces from Pauk and Myaing Townships, Young Force, Joker Guerrilla Force, and the Earthquake People’s Defense Force. The revolutionary forces continue their efforts to protect local civilians and defend against the terrorist military’s threats to the region’s security.
