In Salin Township, Magway Region, six revolutionary armed organizations have united to conduct joint operations aimed at ending the military dictatorship. These groups include Battalion 1, Battalion 5, Burma Army, Daung Sit Aung, Daung Nyi Naing Urban Guerrilla Force, and Salin Local People’s Defense Force. On February 28, representatives from these organizations signed a 13-point agreement to coordinate their military operations and work together as a unified force against the military council.
The joint agreement primarily focuses on maintaining respect for civilians, ensuring unity between forces, and establishing disciplinary measures. The agreement strictly prohibits threatening or speaking rudely to civilians, with provisions for severe punishment for such violations. It also bans inter-force conflicts and the discharge of weapons while under the influence of alcohol in residential areas.
