
MYANMAR – An official from Ah Phyu Yaung DPY Team reported that five houses were destroyed after the terrorist junta council troops torched the houses in Tabayin, Sagaing Division.
The terrorist junta forces stationed in Tabayin reportedly torched and destroyed the houses at the Tabayin intersection around 7:30 a.m. on February 12.
It is said that those junta forces carried out the arson unprovoked as there were no battles and five houses were said to have been destroyed.
“There was no battle. The junta dogs (junta forces) torched and destroyed the houses for no reason. We can’t confirm yet if there were any civilian casualties,” said the official from Ah Phyu Yaung DPY Team.
Meanwhile, in Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Division, junta artillery attacks targeting the villages were reported to have injured four civilians and damaged five houses and two motorcycles, according to the Karen National Union (KNU).
Terrorist junta forces in Peinnekone, Kyaukgyi Township fired a 120mm shell at Phyantalin Village at 3:41 p.m. on February 11 and while a house was damaged when the junta forces from Peinzalote Battalion 264 fired heavy weapons at Thamininnkone Village later that evening at 4:15 p.m. and the junta forces bombing Lonekanyinkyun Village with drones at 5:28 p.m. injured 46 year old Ms. Aye Myint Khaing and damaged a house and two motorcycles.
Similarly on February 9, a 120mm shell fired by the junta forces at Kumchaung at 4:47 a.m. exploded near Phyantalin Village and the terrorist junta forces at Kyauktagar dropped two grenades into the village using drones at 5:16 p.m., injuring 47 year old Saw Maung Soe, 37 year old Naw Lel Lel Htwe and 47 year old Naw Mu Mu Phaw. In addition, three houses were also damaged and the junta forces dropped one more grenade into the village by done at 8:03 p.m.
