SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta council bombed Natkyi Village and Muhtaw Village on the Chindwin River bank in Kani Township, injuring three civilians and damaging one car, according to the residents.
A junta plane reportedly bombed the two villages on February 12 morning. Two women and a man from Natkyi Village were injured and a car was also damaged.
“In Muhtaw Village, the bomb landed in the stream between the northern and southern villages and there was no damage. In Natkyi Village, they targeted the Kyaukkwin area in the southern part of the village using rockets and the machine gun mounted on the plane as well. Because of that, two women and a man working there were injured and a car was also damaged,” said a resident.
The terrorist junta council had bombed Sulaykone and Natlarpot Villages in Kani Township previously in February as well and those junta air strikes have killed two civilians and injured up to five civilians.
