MON STATE- Bago District spokesperson Mr. Phyo Maung stated that some junta soldiers were harmed during drone and 60mm launcher firing towards the 207th Infantry Battalion center guard post (Watch-tower) and the Artillery Batallion 301 based in Theinzayat Town.
On the morning of February 9, Theinzayat Town-based IB-27’s center guard post and artillery Battalion were reportedly attacked by Bago District’s Indakaw (PDF) Drone Force.
At around 3:15 p.m., it was reported that revolutionary soldiers of Wall (PDF) reportedly fired two rounds of 60-mm motor shells at the No. 310 Artillery Battalion.
“An ambulance entered the battalion. Causalities were expected. Not too long after being attacked, there were return fires from the battalion.” said Mr Phyo Maung, who is in charge of Bagu District PDF.
Although the number of casualties suffered by the junta troops during the attack has not yet been confirmed, the revolutionary forces were able to retreat unharmed.
