SAGAING DIVISION – Local residents said that the terrorist army bombarded 5 villages in Kalay township, Sagaing Division for 2 days and the people were fleeing.
Starting from the night of February 8th until the morning of February 9th, the terrorist army attacked Yan Gyi Aung village, Se Taw village, Kyaw village, Sharpho village and Tinthar village in Kale township are being bombarded continuously by airplanes
The casualties of air attack by the terrorist army has yet to confirm and there is also damage to homes. At present, the people of the village are fleeing to safety.
“People may be harmed. It is not yet confirmed based on the ground conditions. Just yesterday night, junta soldiers and planes were circling the villages and the people were running away from the villages. There have been reports of damage, but it has not yet been confirmed. Junta planes are flying all the way,” said a local resident.
On January 31st, the Yaw region war evacuation center at the school of Kokko village of Kalay township was attacked by bombardment by air. Due to the attack, 5 years old Maung Phyo Maung Maung, 8 years old Ma Phyu Phyu Pwint, 36 years old Ma Than Su, 12 years old Ma Metu Sein, 25 years old Ma Hmat Sar, 40 years old Ma Aye Tin, 17 years old Ma Ei Zin Moe, 46 years old Daw Cho Mar Win and three other unknown persons were killed.
Similarly, on February 1st, the terrorist army bombed Hse Taw village in the south of Kalay, destroying buildings and injuring 1 revolutionary soldier.
