MYANMAR – Junta Council is forcing and pressurizing the well-known big business companies and the civil organizations to publish statements to urge to stop fighting and to find peaceful solutions in Northern Shan State. It is learned that they are being pressured to issue letters of appeal for a peaceful round-table discussion.
The junta council has especially pressured famous and well-known business companies, public organizations to issue appeal letters to stop the fighting and find a peaceful solution by round-table discussions, so hopefully the letters will appear from the businesses related to Myanmar born Chinese.
“As per order of the junta council, prominent companies and prominent civil organizations to request a cessation of hostilities, and some companies and civil organizations will continue to issue letters to cease hostilities,” it continued.
Currently, Asia World Company, a large domestic business company, has released a plea written in Chinese to the Kokang forces to stop the war in Northern Shan State and find a peaceful solution.
A Chinese businessman born in Myanmar said that the junta council is trying to give pressure on social associations and business associations related to Chinese people born in Myanmar to issue appeals for a cessation of fighting and a peaceful solution in the northern Shan region.
The terrorist council always spread their propaganda announcements by using YMBA, Myanmar News and Media Council, Myanmar Film Association. They are often forced to issue statements in support of their propaganda activities.
