
A spokesperson from the Myaing People’s Defense Force has confirmed that six military personnel, including a camp commander, were killed in drone strikes targeting military positions at the Pyu Saw Htee camp in North Khanran village and the Myittha Dam in Gangaw Township, Magway Region. On March 4 at 9:20 AM, joint People’s Defense Forces conducted drone strikes using Einar bombs on the Pyu Saw Htee camp in North Kharan village, resulting in casualties among soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members.
Between March 7 and 9, continuous drone strikes were carried out against military forces stationed at the Myittha Dam, resulting in the deaths of six personnel including one camp commander, one soldier, and four Pyu Saw Htee members, with many others wounded. Additionally, on March 16, two soldiers from the Myittha Dam position defected to revolutionary forces and were captured along with one MA-11 rifle and some ammunition.
These operations were jointly conducted by the Myaing PDF, Gangaw Township Allied Forces, Gangaw Township PDF, and the Pauk/Myaing/Kamma drone units, with no casualties reported among resistance forces. On March 17 afternoon, the military council responded by conducting jet fighter airstrikes on villages near the Myittha Dam, according to local residents.
