From March 7 to March 9, resistance forces continued their drone bombing campaign against military council troops stationed at Myittha Dam, resulting in the deaths of six personnel including a camp commander, one soldier, and four Pyu Saw Htee members, with many others wounded. On March 16, two soldiers stationed at Myittha Dam defected to revolutionary forces and were captured along with one MA-11 rifle and ammunition. The coordinated attacks were carried out by joint forces including Myaing PDF, Gangaw Township Combined Forces, Gangaw Township PDF, and drone units from Pauk, Myaing, and Kamma regions, with no casualties reported among resistance fighters.
On March 17 afternoon, the military council responded by conducting jet fighter airstrikes on villages near Myittha Dam.
