
The Mon State Revolution Force (MSRF) reported that 6 military council soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members were killed during an attack on a Pyu Saw Htee camp in Mintha village, Yebyu Township, Tanintharyi Region. The battle began at approximately 7:36 AM on April 20 and continued until 8:30 AM, with exchanges of fire between revolutionary forces and military council troops. During the engagement, in addition to the 6 fatalities on the military council side, 7 others were wounded. Three resistance fighters sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the operation.
The attack was carried out through a coordinated effort of multiple revolutionary forces, including the Mon State Revolution Force (MSRF), People’s Defense Force Dauna Battalion Column 3, All Burma Students’ Democratic Front (ABSDF) Battalion 1, New Mon State Party Anti-Dictatorship Force (NMSP-AD), Dawei Army (DNLA), and Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 6 Battalion 27. This operation represents a significant collaborative effort by resistance forces to protect local civilians from military council oppression and demonstrates the unified approach of revolutionary forces in their struggle against the military regime.
