Following an earthquake on March 28, the military council conducted airstrikes using three fighter jets around 1 PM in Naung Lin village, Naung Cho Township, Northern Shan State, resulting in the deaths of six female revolutionary fighters and one soldier. The military council aircraft circled the area near Naung Lin village before dropping nine bombs into bomb shelters.
According to DPLA force leader Comrade Htun Htun Naing, the military council targeted five locations with nine bombs, directly striking the bomb shelters. The attack resulted in the immediate deaths of six female revolutionaries, including a 15-year-old rear guard member, and one soldier. Seven other revolutionary members were injured, with three in critical condition requiring urgent medical attention.
The location of the military council’s airstrike was approximately 20 miles away from any active conflict zone and far from the mountain region. The fallen revolutionary members have been identified as Comrade Joine, Ma Nanda, Ma Htwe Htwe, Ma Pan Ei, Ma Nazi, Ma Htet Htet, and Ma Hnin Yu. This incident stands as a record of the military council’s brutal attacks against civilians and revolutionary forces. The targeted area was not a combat zone, making this attack particularly significant in documenting the military council’s actions against resistance forces.
