
A 52-year-old man has been rescued alive by Chinese rescue teams after being trapped for more than five days in the collapsed Golden Country Hotel in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay. The rescue occurred on the evening of April 2nd at the hotel located between 31st and 32nd streets on 65th Street. The rescue teams have been working tirelessly day and night since the building’s collapse to find and save survivors trapped in the rubble.
According to local residents, this marks the ninth person successfully rescued alive by the Chinese rescue team. The search and rescue operations are continuing as teams believe there may still be more people trapped under the collapsed structure.
