
A battle broke out between the military council forces and revolutionary forces in Tuyinbo village area of Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, resulting in the death of 5 military council soldiers, according to a responsible official from the Dragon Guerrilla Force. On June 2 at 7:30 AM, military council troops from Infantry Battalion 15 advanced into Tuyinbo village with approximately 100 personnel. The revolutionary forces also attacked Pyu Saw Htee groups stationed in Laytha village and Kyaukpyut village.
During the battle, the military council forces suffered more than 20 casualties, with 5 confirmed deaths. The revolutionary forces were able to withdraw successfully without any casualties. After the battle, military council troops attempted to pursue and attack near Kyaukpyut village in a tiger-formation, but they were forced to retreat due to their heavy casualties. The operation was jointly carried out by Myingyan District 3 Dragon Guerrilla Force and local allied forces.
The revolutionary forces launched the attack in response to the military council’s oppression and looting of local civilians in the area. According to local residents, military council troops had been raiding civilian homes, confiscating property, and making threats during their operations in the region. The military council forces have been conducting aggressive operations in the area, causing significant distress to the civilian population through their intimidation tactics and violations of civilian property rights.
