Five members of the military council forces were killed when resistance forces attacked them while they were burning civilian homes in Tushwinbo village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, according to Captain Mike Khe of the People’s Star Force. The battle occurred on March 4th when approximately 50 military council troops entered Tushwinbo village and began setting fire to civilian homes, prompting resistance forces to launch a counter-attack.
The operation was jointly carried out by the People’s Star Force, MGN Danger Dynamites, and the Mandalay Regional Battalion. The resistance forces successfully engaged the military council troops and were able to withdraw without suffering any casualties. Captain Mike Khe confirmed that the resistance forces launched their attack at a crucial moment when the military council troops were in the process of destroying civilian properties through arson.
This engagement was necessitated by the military council’s ongoing campaign of violence against local civilians, with resistance forces intervening to protect the population. Local residents report that military council forces have been conducting operations in the area characterized by the burning of innocent civilians’ homes, looting of property, and various acts of violence. The resistance forces’ successful operation demonstrates their commitment to defending civilian populations from the military council’s aggressive actions against local communities.
