
Revolutionary forces successfully attacked a military council outpost at the entrance of Ywa Gyi Inn village in Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region, resulting in the death of three military council soldiers and the seizure of weapons and ammunition. The attack was carried out around 8 AM on June 10 in a joint operation between the Falcons Guerilla Force and the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 8. The firefight lasted approximately 20 minutes, with revolutionary forces managing to withdraw safely without any casualties.
The military outpost was reportedly manned by around twenty military council troops at the time of the attack. During the operation, revolutionary forces seized one MA-1 rifle, military ammunition, and other military equipment. A spokesperson from the Falcons Guerilla Force confirmed that three military council soldiers were killed, while many others sustained severe injuries and fled the scene. However, no soldiers were captured alive, and it remains unconfirmed whether there were additional casualties among the fleeing troops.
