
In Nyaung Zone Township, Mandalay Region, revolutionary forces repeatedly engaged with the terrorist military troops conducting operations in the area, resulting in 25 casualties on the military side and one revolutionary fighter killed. On July 7, a combined force of approximately 200 personnel including police, soldiers, and Pyu Saw Htee members moved from Simi Kun Port to Ngatmyar Gyi Police Outpost, advancing from Mohtaung village towards Konlan village. Clashes erupted between this military column and revolutionary forces, forcing the military to retreat to their outpost after suffering casualties. Similarly, on July 10, military forces launched another operation from Ngatmyar Gyi Police Outpost towards Pauktaw village, where they again encountered resistance forces and suffered losses before withdrawing to Pauktaw village.
On July 12, when the military column attempted to advance from Pauktaw village towards Natgyi village, revolutionary forces launched an ambush attack. During these three engagements, the terrorist military suffered 25 fatalities and over 35 injuries, while revolutionary forces lost one fighter and had four others wounded. During the fighting on July 8, the terrorist military burned down 13 houses in Konlan village, and on July 12, they conducted airstrikes on Natgyi village, dropping 6 bombs and attacking with machine gun fire. The military also deployed fighter jets to bomb Natgyi village, dropping six bombs and conducting strafing runs with machine guns.
This military operation was jointly conducted by various revolutionary forces including Mandalay District Battalion 5, Amarapura Township PDF, Zamani Guerrilla Force, CDM SOM Myaung Bogyoke Sinka Column, Myingyan North Region Guerrilla Force, Myingyan District Battalion 7, TGYR Guerrilla Force, Myingyan District Battalions 9 and 6, Nyaung Zone Township PDF and Local Defense Forces, Thitsa La Na Gyi Force, local revolutionary groups, and MN-PDF Myitnge. Military officials stated that revolutionary forces are working tirelessly in their assigned territories for the success of the revolution, and urged the public to take special care to prevent their children from becoming tools of the military council.
