The military forces frequently conduct operations from Mingun toward the shipyard area south of Kyin village, causing constant fear and anxiety among local residents. In this incident, villagers managed to escape preemptively from the military’s attack, preventing any casualties. However, after systematically burning down houses in the village and departing, residents are still facing difficulties returning to their homes due to security concerns. The military’s deliberate destruction of civilian properties has left the community in a state of uncertainty and displacement.
