KARENNI STATE – Demoso Local People’s Defence Force (DMO Local PDF) under the Ministry of Defence of the National Unity Government (NUG) announced that it provided financial aid to its soldiers who were disabled in service.
It is said that 5.95 million Kyats was provided to 38 heavily injured comrades out of the 199 comrades who were injured by junta air and artillery attacks and the landmines of the terrorist junta council during confrontations while in service.
The 38 comrades had lost limbs, lost their sight or were heavily injured in various body organs including the liver, lungs, kidneys and the head.
DMO Local PDF also expressed its gratitude to the donors in the country and from abroad who enabled this financial aid.
