MYANMAR – The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a message for the 36th anniversary of the 8888 democracy movement that falls on August 8.
In the message, CRPH says it wholeheartedly believes that the seeds of democracy born from the 8888 uprising is still alive even now and that the common goal of eradicating the terrorist military dictatorship and building the future federal democratic union will be achieved in a short time.
In addition, it said that the will and belief of the people have been strengthened from the historic 8888 uprising to the current Spring Revolution and that visible victories have been achieved due to the hard work and involvement of each and every groups in the military and political sectors at a time of historic change.
CRPH also said that the time to achieve not just democracy but the building of the future federal democratic union is also closely approaching.
