MYANMAR – The Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a message for the Karen New Year Day that falls on December 30, wishing for the Karen people to implement the future federal democratic union that guarantees equality and self determination as aspired by the Karen martyrs of each generation.
In addition, the committee also wished the Karen people as well as the people across the country to be blessed and safe from all harms on the Karen New Year’s Day of 2764.
The Karen New Year’s Day was first celebrated on Karen Calendar Year 2677 (the first waxing day of Pyatho , Myanmar calendar year 1299) with various fun traditions observed on the day but due to the increased atrocities committed by the terrorist junta council these days, people across the country are suffering from difficulties daily.
However, despite the countless troubles and difficulties faced by the people including the Karen people, CRPH said that the people have shown remarkable resilience that frightens military dictators by continuing to fulfill their roles in the revolution, adding that it believes that everyone’s ultimate goal can be reached.
