On January 29, he visited the Mae Sot to check the BGF-controlled Shwe Kokko city on the other side of the Thaunggin River from Thailand.

Shwe kokko is an area controlled by the Border Guard Force, and Chinese entrepreneurs are allowed to lease land in the area for 90 years. There are more than 100 high-rise buildings including Casinos, Entertainment stations and hotels.
According to the Deputy Minister of Public Security of China, there are 36 Chinese money laundering gangs, employing 100,000 people and defrauding money.
