RAKHINE STATE – CDF – Asho reported on December 28 that they had captured two terrorist junta columns with around 90 forces fleeing after their base, Western Command in Ann Township was disintegrated, and seized weapons and ammunition.
The junta column was reported to have captured a large amount of weapons and ammunition and military equipment from the captured and the junta soldiers who returned to legal fold between December 25 and 27.
CDF – Asho blocked and captured the defeated junta columns with around 90 forces that were running away after the Arakan Army had attacked and acquired their Western Command, at around 1,500 meter to the west of Pyin Wa checkpoint, near Ann – Pa Dan Road.
Some of the terrorist junta forces willingly surrendered with their weapons, but some fled without direction after their columns were disintegrated. The Revolutionary Forces chased and attacked the fled and escaped junta soldiers, and captured 17 in three days.
The Revolutionary Forces were searching for those who escaped, and it is said that further information will be released.
