CENTRAL MYANMAR- The Burmese People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) announced on December 2 that it is recruiting new soldiers for the battles in the Anyar region (central Myanmar).
“BPLA is recruiting members for the battles in the Anyar region. You can contact us through Facebook Page Messenger,” BPLA official page posted.
BPLA commander Mr. Saung Kha wrote on his Facebook page, “No matter what difficulties or problems we face, we will take action without turning back. I will fight with all my might. We invite you to fight together.”
BPLA would be cooperating with other revolutionary forces and PDF battalions under the NUG Ministry of Defense in the Anyar region, and trying to achieve the revolution as soon as possible, Mr. Saung Kha announced since the end of October.
BPLA, during more than 3 years of its establishment, has two operational areas namely Karen State No. (107) Military Region and Shan North-based No. (203) Military Region. Now, No. (308) Anyar Militiary, the third military expansion has been established.
BPLA is not a subordinate force of the NUG. However, Commander Mr. Saung Kha wrote on Facebook on October 27 that he would always try to cooperate with all the local forces in the interest of unity and the success of the revolution.
He also said that BPLA will work step-by-step to achieve as the representative of the Burmese ethnic group and get the recognition of the people.
In addition, Mr. Saung Kha told the media that the resistance forces in the Anya region welcomed the BPLA.
