BAGO DIVISION – The Revolutionary Forces reportedly attacked the junta’s Taungoo-based Southern Command with seven 107mm Ground-to-Ground Rockets, and five of which exploded successfully at the target, according to an official of Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM).
On December 22, at 00:35 a.m., the Revolutionary Forces fired seven 107mm Ground-to-Ground Rockets on the terrorist and defeated junta’s Southern Command base, and five of which exploded successfully at the target. The casualties of terrorist junta forces were under confirmation.
The attack was carried out by the lead of Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) with the collaboration of Mountain Knight Civilian Defense Forces (MKCDF), Anti-Coup People’s Liberation Force – ACPLF, Northern Thandaung Special Region as BWM’s Mission 27, and the Beikthano (Taungdwingyi) also contributed to the success of the mission.
The junta’s Southern Command is the military command that is responsible for violently suppressing the Revolutionary Forces in Bago Division, the northern part of Karen State and the adjacent areas, so the attack was carried out. An official from the Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) said that the mission was aimed at helping the Revolutionary Forces in various parts of Myanmar, which had been fighting against the terrorist junta army with all their might.
They carried out the attack to make feeling unsafe of the defeated junta and their families even within the military headquarters they rely on at Christmas time, as the people across the country had been suffering insecure due to the defeated junta’s violent torture, forced abduction of young people and airstrike attacks.
