KARENNI STATE – The attack on the terrorist junta forces stationed at Aungthapyay Cave Hill in Loikaw Township killed six junta forces including a captain while four junta forces were captured alive and 12 weapons were seized, according to Karenni Nationalities Defence Force (KNDF) Strategic 2.
Karenni revolutionary forces attacked the junta station around 6 a.m. on December 18, killing six junta forces including a captain and a corporal and four more were captured alive.
In addition, a total of 12 weapons; seven MA-1, four MA-11 and one MA-3 used by the terrorist junta forces were confiscated.
It is said that the junta forces fired back using drones and heavy artillery during the attack and also launched counter-offensive from Loikaw.
The attack was carried out by KNDF Strategic 2, KNDF Battalion 2 and Battalion 14, KNDF UAV and Loikaw Local PDF and it is said that a member of the revolutionary forces was slightly injured.
As such, KNDF Strategic 2 has advised the public to keep an eye on the military situation.
