BAGO DIVISION – Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) team said that the junta council’s Airbase at Taungoo was attacked using 107mm missiles, and 10 out of 12 missiles were fired successfully on the evening of January 4.
The BWM explained that the attack was carried out since the terrorist army’s Taungoo Airbase has been conducting airstrikes on civilians nationwide including the Karenni State on the night of New Year Eve.
Although it is the day of independence (January 4) in Myanmar, the people are still under the military dictators and the mission aimed to support the liberation of the people who are suffering from the torture of the fascist council.
Under the lead of Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM), the Mountain Knight Civilian Forces (MKCDF), Anti-Coup People’s Liberation Force (ACPLF), and the Special Region of the Thandaung North attacked the mentioned airbase on the Independence Day, January 4, at 5 a.m.
The Taungoo Airbase is an important air base in the southern region and is a base used by the MiG-29 Jet Fighters and the Y-12 Military Transport Aircrafts that are mainly used for airstrikes targeting civilians.
The BWM and allied forces believe that if the terrorist junta council’s air force is defeated, the revolutionary forces all over Myanmar will win the defensive war and would be free from military dictatorship, as such the mission 28 was conducted on 77th Independence Day of Myanmar.
The BWM and allied forces said that this was the 6th attack on Taungoo Airbase and the damage of the junta council will be investigated and announced.
